JOB SUMMARY:

Fitness instructor supports the mission of Wellness by ensuring that quality equipment and facilities and an enthusiastic staff complement a range of health and fitness programs and activities. The Fitness Instructor is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading wellness, health and fitness programs, in a safe manner while developing and monitoring budgets for these programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school education with other applicable training and experience preferred

• Bachelor degree in exercise science or related field preferred
• Experience with older adult population preferred 
• Experience in health and wellness field
• Experience in teaching group exercise preferred
