As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Villa Pueblo Senior Living standards.

Your role will involve monitoring and reporting changes in the patient’s condition on a daily basis, you must be able to assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation
• Complete/receive accurate shift report
• Staff call-in's for any clinical positions to meet communities PPD requirements
• Audit chart documentation for new Admissions / Discharges
• Complete timely rounds to check on the safety and security of residents
• Maintain appropriate communication with physicians and families regarding changes in resident’s condition.
• Order prescribed medications, supplies, and equipment as necessary, and in accordance with established facility policies.
• Explains procedures and treatments to residents to gain trust and corporation

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an LPN
• Maintain a current unencumbered license
• One (1) year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• High Scholl Diploma or equivalent
