Friendship Village of Schaumburg is currently hiring for a full time Restaurant Manager. Will supervise and coordinate activities of associates engaged in Mosaic and Season's Restaurant, Herman's Bar & Grill, and Bluestone Pub Dining Rooms to ensure satisfaction, consistency, timeliness, quality and efficient service. Will monitor safety and sanitation in the listed areas. 

Responsibilities: 

• Monitors food quality, temperatures, portion control, resident dining room mealtimes, substitution logs, resident confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Implements program services plan to improve services, quality and satisfaction of all service areas.
• Responsible for completing associate scheduling, based upon the budget. Adjust schedule as needed for call offs and benefit time; maintain a logbook to adhere to the attendance policy.
• Responsible for completing associate payroll.
• Responsible for conducting daily associate stand up meetings to review menus and other resident information dealing with meal service.
• Coordinates with the management team for monthly specials and assists with quarterly demo cooking events as needed.
• Conducts Daily Resident Dining Room rounds during meal service in assigned area to ensure satisfaction along with IDPH and other regulatory compliance.
• Works with Management Team to implement systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment.
• Participates in training programs to provide a safe working environment. Complies with all OSHA regulations and local state and federal regulations.

Education/Experience:

• Maintains Illinois State Food Sanitation License
• Basset Certification
• 2-3 years in supervisory experience within the resident service area or hospitality industry.
