Frederick Health's Medical Weight Loss Program is an established and busy comprehensive medically monitored program centered on personalized individual meal plans for our patients. It is a guide to practical living while working to achieve weight loss goals. Weight loss will never be easy, so we seek to share the knowledge needed to live a healthy lifestyle as the first step for our patients in the journey.
Our focus is not centered on the dwindling numbers on a scale, but on the metabolic improvements our patients achieve with adherence to a healthy eating plan; these long-lasting effects are seen most notably with blood pressure improvements, cholesterol reduction, and normalization of glucose metabolism (diabetes and insulin resistance improvements). We take the time to learn what variables are most important for each person-be they psychological, logistical, or food-based. This matters more than identifying one diet that works for everyone.
