  • Providing a new hourly pay structure that replaces a per visit rate. Nurses are paid for their time and receive applicable shift differential for weekend, holiday, or off shift work.
  • Providing staffing options including “weekend option” positions to support work/home balance 
  • Established a productivity rate to ensure you spend more quality time with your patients.
  • Offer professional development and participation on the Professional Clinical Ladder. Home Health Nurses are included in this professional development program and may receive additional flat rate shift differentials with clinical advancement.
  • Home Care staff participate in organizational and unit based committees/councils. Nurses are encouraged to share in the decision making process that affects the care delivery model and patient outcomes.

Position requirements:

Current RN license in Maryland or Compact State. BSN prepared nurses are preferred. ADN nurses must agree to complete BSN degree within 5 yrs of hire. CPR required. Prefer at least 2yrs of RN Med/Surg or LTC experience. Will consider 1yr RN experience for strong candidates. IV access, wound care, chronic disease management experience a plus.

Active Driver's license with good driving record.  Must provide reliable transportation with auto insurance.

Schedule:

  • Budgeted for 72 hours per bi-weekly pay period.
  • Schedule – Friday - Sunday 7a-7p with premium rate on weekend
  • Required to work 11 of every 12 weekends (or 48 out of 52 weekends per year) and holidays that fall on scheduled weekends.
  • No on-call required
