Job Summary:

This position is responsible for increasing employee charitable giving (ACE Club membership). Responsible for raising awareness and participation in Frederick Health’s employee giving program (ACE Club) through targeted outreach, membership drives, planning and executing ACE Club events, as well as all other responsibilities associated with the ACE Club to include, but not limited to, ensuring accurate employee database records, oversight of ACE Ambassadors and ACE Committee, recognition and appreciation initiatives.

The position is responsible for planning and executing additional Development Team donor and volunteer events to include but not limited to 1902 Club events, Lasting Legacy Lunch, Planned Gift Workshops, Signature Gifts Luncheon, Good Samaritan Education Series, CEO Roundtable Breakfast, Development Council events.

The position is responsible for management and content creation of the Development Team’s social media and web platforms.

The position has access to confidential information and must be able to maintain those confidences. Supports the mission of Frederick Health and complies with the hospital’s Standards of Behavior.

Essential Functions:

·A Caring Employee [ACE] | Employee Giving (Works collaboratively with Hospice counterpart in all aspects of Employee Giving)

    • Recruiting, retaining, and stewarding ACE donors.
    • Recruiting, training, retaining, utilizing ACE Committee and ACE Ambassador volunteers.
  • Event Planning & Logistics:
    • Plan, organize, execute all ACE Club events, and annual membership drive(s)
    • Plan, organize, execute additional Development Team events.
  • Communication & Design:
    • Create and manage distribution of donor and volunteer event materials and invitations, including work with print vendors.
    • Manage social media calendar, content creation and posting.
    • Maintain the ACE Club section on the Frederick Health Intranet.

·Database Interaction (Works collaboratively with Development Coordinator)

    • Manage database activity for ACE Club donors
    • Train as ACE payroll back-up

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Prefer an individual with knowledge and engagement with the Frederick community.
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a commitment to listening, accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-up while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks with multiple deadlines;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues;
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with individuals in various situations.
  • Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:

·Education – Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Business, Communications, Marketing/Graphic Design, Non-Profit Management.

·Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of related work experience required.

·Proficiency with Canva and InDesign platforms required.

·Previous Experience with CRM/Database software (Bloomerang) is a plus but not required.

·Safe Alcohol Awareness and Crowd Management Training is a plus but not required.

Pay is based on experience, skills and education.  Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.  The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable.

Pay range: $44,000-$65,000

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30. Occasional evenings and early morning hours.
