Job Summary:
The part-time Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth office operations, assisting in the administrative and logistics functions, and supporting training activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability working in a sometimes ambiguous and changing business environment. This role is expected to have approximately 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.
- Maintain and organize office inventory (e.g. supplies, equipment) and vendor relationships.
- Oversee office maintenance, ensuring all facility needs are met.
- Support Director of HR as needed with new employee onboarding.
- Support training workshop logistics.
- Assist with office design, furnishing, and renovation as needed.
- Optional, pending experience:
- Assist in proposal production and ensure timely submission of required documentation, as requested.
- Maintain company records and ensure compliance with government contract requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in organizational, office, or program management, preferably in a government contracting environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Capacity to take initiative and work under tight deadlines with minimal guidance.
- Professional demeanor.
- Results oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers effectively.
- Professional presentation and attire.
- High ethical standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Government capture and proposal experience.
- Familiarity with government contract compliance.
