Flexco, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented student who has a desire to gain knowledge in Quality Assurance for an internship. The chosen candidate would perform duties in QA, such as improving 400+ operator inspection plans and support QE roles and responsibilities.

You will also participate in a structured internship program designed to promote professional growth through open discussion informational panels, learning about various departments that make up Flexco, and develop other useful skills to apply in the workplace.

Job Requirements:

1. Fulltime, onsite availability (5 days, 40 hours/week)
2. Must be currently attending college or enrolled for Fall 2024 
3. Pursuing a degree related to Industrial, Manufacturing, or similar
4. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment and wear proper PPE (safety glasses, safety shoes)
5. Physical requirements include being able to lift 45 lbs. floor to waist and standing all day. A physical assessment is part of the pre-hire process. 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of computer experience
• Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
• Experience with hand tools such as calipers and micrometers is a plus

• Experience or expertise with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus
• Experience or expertise with Statistical Process Control (SPC) is a plus

Details:

1. Role is located in the plant, which is noisy and dirty
2. May be eligible for up to four hours/day of holiday pay.
