SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER

This position will be innovative in planning and implementing ideas that enhance the overall quality of services provided.

The candidate for this position will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the management and implementation of Fidelity Bank’s voice, video, and data communication networks to ensure proper operation and compliance
  • Evaluates emerging network technologies to ensure interoperability with current network systems
  • Designing, implementing and supporting the LAN/WAN by working closely with our vendors and partners
  • Proactively monitoring the systems through alerts, logs and dashboard to identify trends and avoid outages
  • Supporting work orders and requests through the internal ticketing system
  • Supporting the management of computer and communication system architecture and standards while providing input to the development and implementation of technology services, operating policies and procedures
  • Regularly visiting with computer and communications systems users to determine views of technology services
  • Supporting the development and implementation of a customer-oriented sales and service culture

Required skills for the position include:

  • A bachelor’s degree in an IT or business related field (may be waived in lieu of experience or technical training)
  • 7+ years in one or more of the following: Routing and Switching, VoIP, and Network Security device management.
  • 5+ years administrating Cisco Call Manager/UCCX/Finesse/CUIC/ISE systems
  • 3+ years administrating WebEx, Zoom or similar collaboration platforms
  • The ability to analyze network traffic in the event of an incident or suspicious activity, take corrective action to implement additional network security controls, and report results to management
  • The ability to collaborate, manage and execute complex network projects
  • The ability to provide outstanding internal and external customer support
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communications and customer service skills
  • Develop, update, and implement detailed documentation standards for network configurations, connectivity, and structured cabling, which may include site and network topology diagrams
  • Able to support On-Call rotation duties and work the occasional extra time as needed whether in the morning, evenings or weekends
  • Ability to lead the development and implementation of advanced failover and disaster recovery implementations to ensure the network’s availability, reliability, and stability
  • The ability to travel on occasion as needed to in and out of market bank branches

Preferred skills for this position include:

  • Current Cisco CCNA/CCNP Certifications
  • Familiarity or experience with managing Video Management and Access Control systems
  • Familiarity or experience with managing Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Cloud Proxy solutions
