Basic Scope/Purpose: The Training and Development Manager will oversee Fenner’s learning and development journeys and experiences by planning, directing and coordinating programs to support employee growth and drive business results. As a member of the HR Leadership Team, reporting to the Divisional VP of HR, the manager will also be a key contributor in shaping our culture that is focused on People, Profit and Planet.
Principal Accountabilities:
Learning and Development
Establishing and implementing innovative and transformative learning and development journeys and experiences that foster employee growth and drive business results.
- Conducting a skills gap analysis to identify organizational learning needs.
- Coordinating learning and development programs for various audiences including but not limited to New Hires, Early In Career talent, Sales, Engineering, Finance, Operations and People Leaders.
- Creating learning content individually or collaborating with Michelin subject matter experts to deliver content that is applicable, practical, and drives measurable outcomes.
- Delivering virtual, face-to-face, and/or asynchronous learning content as necessary.
- Responsible for managing the learning platforms (Fenner in UKG and Michelin in Workday) to enhance the effectiveness of learning offerings.
Talent Management
Provide thought leadership in managing the organization’s talent demand and supply through programs to identify, develop, review and retain employees.
- Supporting succession planning
- Designing career frameworks and practices
Leadership Development
Key contributor in shaping a culture of strong leadership and driving initiatives to facilitate the development of leadership capabilities.
- Championing Michelin ICARE behaviors and drive the culture shaping journey around the core behaviors.
- Supporting Fenner’s participation in annual Michelin High Potential detection campaign & the identified talent with their development journey.
- Coaching and guiding leaders at all levels.
Maintain and Promote Fenner Precision Polymers Values and Behaviors at all times.

Education:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development or in related area of study required (i.e., Instructional Systems Design, HR, I/O Psychology)
Strongly Preferred: Masters in M.Ed., MS in Training and Curriculum Design, MBA, or equivalent
Experience:
Required:
- A minimum of 7 years of Increased responsibility within learning & development.
- Experience assessing performance gaps, analyzing learning needs, designing and developing interventions, and evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs.
- Proven track record in development and execution of evaluation strategies for learning programs.
- Working knowledge of personality profile assessment (DISC, MBTI, CliftonStrengths Assessment and/or Insights) as well as best practices in leadership development.
- Proven ability to use data and analytics to measure progress, inform and influence.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in learning development system (UKG, Workday, etc.)
- Knowledge of DEI best practices and emerging trends.
