Fenner Dunlop is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our Port Clinton manufacturing team!

Job Purpose

As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at Fenner Dunlop, you’ll perform all necessary equipment repairs, troubleshooting  of equipment, equipment  installations and other assignments related to the mechanical trade assigned by the facility manager.

Principal Duties

  • Responds to calls from line operators to repair equipment as needed.

  • Perform preventive inspections, lubrication, periodic and incidental maintenance, and repair of production equipment, vehicle equipment and building.

  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic devices and hydraulic systems. Troubleshoot mechanical problems in a timely manner.

  • Independently performs all assignments after being given general instructions as to the results expected.

  • Repair and install rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, blowers, gear boxes and all power transmission equipment

  • Identify and use hand tools and power tools safely.

  • Trouble-shoot and analyze causes of equipment failures and recommend solutions to problems

  • Performs daily routine maintenance/inspections as required according to standards.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to personal safety, machine safety, and safety rules. Attend all required safety trainings as directed by supervisor. Report all injuries and hazards to your supervisor immediately.

  • Maintain a good attendance record and adhere to the attendance policy.

  • Perform any other task deemed necessary.

Required Experience/Education Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate Degree Preferred - In the related field in lieu of Journeyman's card
  • Three (3) or more years’ experience in industrial maintenance, in manufacturing setting
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and/or overtime
  • Capable of being flexible and adaptable
  • Routinely stand, squat, and/or work in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
