FCCI Insurance Group is currently seeking Summer Interns to join our Actuarial and Predictive Modeling teams. In the Actuarial internship, you will gain a solid comprehension of actuarial principles, concepts, procedures, and processes, while contributing to the team by providing actuarial analytical support and data mining investigations. In the Predictive Modeling internship, you will learn about statistical and machine learning PM techniques, and methods for performing quantitative research. 

The internship will be at our corporate office in Sarasota, FL.

Requirements

  • Prefer current undergraduate/graduate student or recent graduate in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Solid attention to detail and ability to understand and communicate technical information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with others.
  • Willingness to complete professional designation(s) and continued industry education.
  • Ability to mine, organize, compile, model, and analyze technical data while utilizing mathematical techniques to effectively solve problems (preferred).
  • Completion of at least one actuarial exam (preferred).
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA; additional requirements may apply.
