ESSENTAIL FUNCTIONS:

1.

Routine and emergent maintenance of all Family Health West facilities.

2.

Maintenance support of all programs including basic plumbing, electrical, painting and drywall repairs.

3.

Assist with facility remodeling activities, including removing and replacing floor coverings.

4.

Assist with room moves, including furniture relocation which involves heavy lifting.

5.

Participate with landscape crew to keep grounds attractive.

6.

Assist with regular preventative maintenance activities.

7.

Participate in on-call rotation.  Respond immediately to home or cell calls while on-call.

8.

Service domestic water system, repair leaks in any water lines, replace or repair sinks, faucets, toilets, showers as needed.

9.

Maintain electrical high and low voltage systems.

10.

Maintain domestic and wastewater systems.

11.

Maintain HVAC systems.

12.

Perform cosmetic work to keep buildings repaired.

13.

Respond to resident/patient and staff maintenance requests.

14.

Work with contractors on-site doing repairs or new installation work.

15.

Assist Environmental Services staff as requested.

16.

Service fire alarm system – participate in fire drills, observes fire alarm service company as they conduct yearly inspections of fire sprinkler system, smoke alarm, and fire panel systems.

17.

Other job related duties as assigned.

Requires the ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

Requires ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram or schedule form.

8.

Requires the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

9.

Requires the ability to select and properly wear approved Personal Protective Equipment.

10.

Must be proficient with general maintenance bench tools.

11.

Must be able to read and understand blueprints and drawings.

EDUCATION:

1.

Education

High school Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

2.

Licenses

No professional license required.        

3.

Certifications

No certification required.

4.

Experience

1-3 years related experience a

Wage Scale $19.95-$26.81

Position will be open until filled
