Current Payrate $50/hr. plus shift differentials!   

The Registered Nurse [RN] in the CrisisCare Center will work in a fast paced, psychiatric crisis-centered environment. The multidisciplinary team member is responsible for conducting nursing assessments of physical and mental health, following prescriber’s orders, managing and administering medications and monitoring vital signs and stabilization. As a team member the Registered Nurse [RN] will provide a range of stabilization and medical support services and may participate in individualized crisis planning, discharge planning and care coordination of consumers.

Requirements

  • The psychiatric nurse must be a licensed Registered Nurse [RN] in the State of Oklahoma
  • Prefer at least one year of work experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting.
  • Must have a strong commitment to the right and ability of each person with a severe and persistent mental illness to live in normal community residences; work in market jobs; and have access to helpful, adequate, competent, and continuous supports and services.
  • Skills and competence to establish supportive trusting relationships with persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses and respect for consumer rights and personal preferences in treatment are essential.
  • Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office.
  • Maintain availability for working non-traditional hours, such as evenings, weekends, holidays and overnight shifts as Pavilion 23 is a 24/7 facility.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of co-occurring disorders and appropriate interventions. Will maintain accurate billing and timely documentation.

You will be working in an innovative and dynamic environment using a new transformative model of care Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC).  This model is characterized by innovative, team-based approach and whole person care for adults and children with a range of complex mental health and substance use challenges.

Utilizing multi-disciplinary teams, staff work collaboratively to provide a coordinated effort to enhance client recovery. Robust CCBHC services often result in better client outcomes and quality of care due to:     

  1. Increased access to care and crisis services
  2. Expanded traditional community mental health and substance use services.
  3. Added Care Coordination and physical health screening for mental health clients
  4. Greater access to Social Services for clients’ economic and social needs
  5. Increased specialized services for veterans, those most in need, and those impacted by the opioid crisis.
