Description
Responsibilities:
- Directs and supervises all mutuel line functions.
- Processes customer wagering transactions through a totalisator terminal and certifies accurate wagering transactions as prescribed by state racing commission regulations, IRS regulations and Fair Grounds’ standards.
- Accounts for all division loads, cashier monies, vouchers, coupons, etc. used in performing job duties of mutuel line and reconciles daily cash handling activities to confirm accuracy of cash received at beginning of shift and cash returned at end of shift.
- Ensures compliance with all operational and regulatory requirements.
- Serves as front line liaison in respect to manned and self-service totalizator terminals and systems to identify, examine and resolve issues.
- Disseminates accurate and real-time information to customers and cashiers regarding the Fair Grounds’ offerings and escalates request for information to superiors when needed.
- Maintains confidentially of customer personal and account information when such is required to process wagering or payment transaction.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Must consent to and successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Must be 21 years or older (required by Casino and/or State regulations).

Must be able to obtain a Louisiana Racing Commission License. (Company will provide application.)
