What You’ll Do

  • Lead the full spectrum of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, compensation, benefits, training, and compliance.
  • Partner with managers to develop people-focused solutions that balance employee needs with business priorities.
  • Guide teams through organizational change, helping employees understand, adapt, and thrive.
  • Oversee employee relations investigations, ensuring compliance with employment law and alignment with our values.
  • Direct recruitment and talent strategies to attract and retain top talent through inclusive outreach.
  • Provide expertise on compensation, performance management, and development planning.
  • Support employee benefits, leaves of absence, accommodations, and wellness initiatives with care and compliance.
  • Use data and workforce analytics to guide decision-making in workforce planning, retention, and organizational development.
  • Work hybrid schedule, based in Santa Rosa, CA (4 days in, 1 day home)

Who You Are

  • A human resources generalist at heart, with comprehensive HR knowledge across employee relations, compliance, staffing, compensation, benefits, training, and performance management.
  • An experienced leader (7+ years) who has successfully guided HR teams and managers, ideally within banking or a similar regulated environment.
  • A change leader who can anticipate challenges, plan thoughtfully, and coach employees through transitions.
  • A community builder who values relationships both within the workplace and across the local community.
  • Confident with California, multi-state, and federal employment laws, with the ability to ensure both compliance and fairness.
  • Someone who embraces technology and leverages it, driving efficiencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent years of experience required; SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

The compensation range for this position is to $115,000 to $150,000 per year. The compensation offered will fall within this range, commensurate with the candidate's applicable experience, education and skills.
