Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible to automate routine tasks and workflows.
• Manage and administer Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) environments, including the creation and scheduling of jobs, and maintaining inventories.
• Implement role-based access control and security policies within Ansible AAP.
• Monitor Ansible AAP performance and scalability, optimizing as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Four to Eight (4-8) years of related experience in DevOps, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Proven experience in automation engineering, with a strong focus on Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, such as Python and YAML.
• Strong understanding of configuration management, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and system administration.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform certifications are a plus.
• Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other automation tools and frameworks, such as Puppet, Chef, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of network and security concepts in an automation context.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $110,000 to $145,000 annually. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

• Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
• Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
• Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.
