Responsible for leading and executing the Supplier Quality program, and supporting cross-functional departments to acquire highest quality materials from suppliers that meet the requirements while improving the cost of quality of parts, processes and products. Manage and develop company’s suppliers, and their respective processes/systems to prevent defects.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining supplier quality management program.
- Perform thorough audits and assessments of Supplier processes and QMS and drive improvement.
- Day to day activities include; supplier auditing, SCAR management, Supplier NCMR investigations, Supplier file maintenance, Supplier metrics, ASL and ACL.
- Core team member on supplier related projects starting in new product development.
- Assess the Supplier Management process and related procedures for continual improvement.
- Support in house manufacturing and customer complaint issues related to supplier parts.
- Develop receiving inspection requirements as needed.
- Support resolution of issues at the supplier impacting product quality.
- Participate in the supplier qualification, approval and selection process.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/engineering discipline
Experience:
- Years of related work experience, including:
- 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of experience with a Master’s Degree.
- ASQ CQE or CQA and six sigma black belt preferred.
Compensation: $90,000 to $125,000 annually depending on level of experience, plus bonus and equity potential.
