Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic– (St E)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Southeast, Washington, DC. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Makes adjustments and repairs to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical; architectural and structural building components; interior and entrance doors and related components; floor systems, roof systems, and windows.
• Performs preventative maintenance functions which include but not limited to: filters, cooling towers, heating and cooling coils, cleaning floor drains, rigging, chillers, plate heat exchangers, etc.
• May make repairs and installations from ladders, scaffolding, and platforms.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in the Maintenance Field
• CFC Required
• Must be able to obtain HSPD-12 Clearance

Physical Demands:

• Works with systems and equipment in hard to reach places requiring standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and climbing in tight and uncomfortable positions.
• Frequently lift, carry, and sets up equipment that weighs .20 pounds.
• Occasionally may lift items up to 50 pounds.
• Work is performed inside and outside and is usually dirty and greasy
