Job Title: --  Power Platform Developer

Job Summary: --This position is responsible for the secure design, development, management, and maintenance of applications using Microsoft Power Platform components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, design, develop, and maintain applications to meet the end-user requirements
  • Create detailed test plans, debugging plans, launch and rollout plans
  • Develop PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Flow, Power BI, Power Fabric, Dataverse and other Power Platform tools as necessary to meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain reports and other required items like screens, dashboards etc. to display data and other information for the business
  • Develop and work with SharePoint Sites and lists to seamlessly integrate Power Platform and SharePoint
  • Partner with and mentor other EMCOR’s teams performing technical tasks related to development and management of Power Platform
  • Guide other developers in best practices for secure Power Platform development
  • Manage and support existing solutions with EMCOR environments
  • Utilize approved software and tools to follow Secure Software Development Lifecycle methodologies to meet EMCOR’s polices & requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Power Platform and SharePoint Online
  • Support the migration of data when transforming from legacy applications to Power Platform applications
  • Continue to learn and implement best practices as Microsoft evolves the Power Platform products

Qualifications: --

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Certifications in Microsoft based technologies and development tools
  • Understanding and hands-on experience in secure design, development, and implementation on Microsoft technologies including Microsoft DevOps, GitHub, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD
  • Hands-on experience with the following technologies: Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Dataverse
  • Experience with tools like JavaScript, Node.js, .Net Framework, T-SQL,
  • Understanding and experience with different development methodologies
  • Understanding of cyber security frameworks and secure code development
  • Experience with complex and distributed organizational structure is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and accountable
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple shifting priorities
  • Ability to travel as needed

Compensation Range:    $101,000 - 144,000

Other Compensation:  this position is bonus eligible
