Non-exempt, Eligible for overtime 

Job Location: Midland, TX -Willing to travel.

General Job Description:  

Perform the construction, maintenance and repairs for distribution, transmission and substation work. Must be familiar with the National Electrical Code.

Qualifications:

• May have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• High School diploma or GED is required. 
• Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision. 

Physical Requirements, in a given day include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to sit (50%), stand (80%) and walk (80%) for prolonged periods of time. 
• Ability to climb ladders (up to 50%) and work from elevated work surfaces. 
• Ability to walk up and down stairs (possibly several flights)
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. 
• When required, wear all necessary PPE and clothing. 
• Ability to work in all elements (hot, cold, rain, snow etc.) for prolonged periods of time. 
• Ability to work around loud noises (ear plugs are provided) up to 75% of the time while working. 

May also have a CDL A/B and be able to operate the bucket truck and/or pressure digger. trencher.
