 Job Title: Carpenter

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform drywall repairs
• Repair floors (linoleum, carpeting, tile, etc.)
• Repair and/or replace faucets and related components.
• Hang doors and associated hardware
• Minor plumbing repairs
• General building maintenance and repairs
• Maintains effective communications with team and customers.
• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
• Provide own hand tools.
• Concrete pads/repairs.
• T-Bar ceilings.

Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)

• Possess knowledge of commercial construction, maintenance and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and safety.
• Read blueprints.
• 5 years general carpentry experience with proficient experience in operating various hand power tools.
• Possess mathematical skills and analytical skills necessary to do material estimates.
• Must be able to move/lift heavy objects, climb vertical ladders and work at various heights.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen/background check.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years in all phases of commercial/residential construction and / or maintenance and able to understand verbal and written instructions.
