Job Summary 

EMCOR is seeking a Service Billing Coordinator in Indianapolis, IN. In this position you will be responsible for assisting with billing and dispatch. You will make sure all deadlines are met and work is completed in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Interact daily with the billing coordinator and service coordinators.
  • Interact daily with National Account customers to resolve issues and provide necessary information to keep billing up to date.  
  • Call vendors/subs to obtain invoices to enter in AS400 to keep billing up to date.
  • Interact daily with supervisor and manager to assist in workorders, PO’s and inventory to ensure accuracy for billing.
  • Maintain database/portals to keep up to date.
  • Assist with billing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Background in administrative duties, customer service, and finance.
  • Experience with AS400 a plus.
  • Billing experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Possess a willingness to learn and ability to work well with others.
  • Good writing, phone and communication skills are essential to the job.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work with a diverse group of construction workers.
  • Proficient with time management.
  • Dependability, strong work ethic.
