Job Summary: The Building Controls Account Manager will acquire new commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts by developing relationships with owners, facility managers, and management companies, as well as calling on existing customers. An innovative, goal-driven sales professional will sell controls (Building Automation) work associated with service repair, retrofit jobs, energy solutions and service agreements to key decision makers.
Building Controls Account Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare proposals based on the project’s technical specifications and requirements.
- Provide solutions and designs per the customer’s requirements.
- Organize and prepare bid documentation and ensure accuracy of estimates.
- Responsible for developing sales leads, qualifying prospects and make sales calls.
- Estimate, bid, propose, negotiate and close jobs and contracts at qualified margins.
- Cold calling prospective new customers.
- Selling to both C-level and technical buyers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years commercial HVAC Experience with knowledge of HVAC codes and standards
