Job Title:                     Systems Administrator (On-Site)

Location:                     Baltimore, MD  21227

Reports to:                  IT Manager

FLSA Status:               Full-Time / Exempt

Work Shift:                  8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. / Mon. – Fri.

Our construction and service (mechanical and electrical) experience includes a broad range of commercial and government projects, including data centers, hospitals, sports stadiums, convention centers, hotels, and research laboratories.

SUMMARY:  The IT Support Specialist assists the company in meeting its objectives and goals by supporting the IT Manager in the day-to-day IT operations and functions of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key areas of focus and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • IT Support Day-to-day support as needed.
  • Computer, software, printer, & mobile device inventory, setup, and maintenance
  • Antivirus and patch management and monitoring for computer and server operating systems
  • Provide advanced Active Directory Users & Computers Support
  • Backup maintenance and monitoring
  • Provide end user help desk support
  • Provide relevant education and training and create documentation for non-technical users
  • Ensure that Corporate SOP’s are met
  • Work remotely and onsite at OpCos to perform IT projects and upgrades
  • Manage mobile phones and tablets
  • Perform other duties as assigned by IT Manager

  • Possess exceptional customer service skills, patient, well organized, and a good communicator.
  • Expertise in computer software, hardware maintenance, and technical support.
  • Experience with repairing, diagnosing, and upgrading PC hardware and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Self-motivated with a high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read and interpret communication styles of diverse team members who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 Operating Systems Support
  • Windows Server 2016 & 2019 Operating Systems Support
  • Microsoft 365 Suite
  • VMware x
  • Cohesity or similar backup technology
  • Advanced Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Autopilot or similar endpoint management technology

PREFERED EXPERIENCE

  • CompTIA or Microsoft Certifications or comparable experience
  • Carbon Black or similar endpoint security technology

ADDITIONAL NOTED REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is based in the Baltimore, MD office and is an on-site position.
  • Occasional travel in the  area of Maryland, Virginia, and Ohio is required.
  • Work hours are generally 40 hours per week but may flex based on needs of the business.
