 SUMMARY

 Trautman & Shreve is seeking a full-time Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Denver, Colorado. Primary responsibilities include ensuring a clean, organized and proper warehouse. Will also process orders/requests made by Service and Operations staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Tour the loading dock at the beginning of each shift looking for leaks, trash, dirt/debris, etc.

Organize / sort any overnight packages to be picked up by mailroom. (Log packages into delivery log and Maximo)

Ensure all third party packages and freight deliveries are sent into the building. (Log)

Sign for all FedEx and UPS packages. (Log)

Tour dock during day addressing any spills and oil leaks from vehicles.  Apply oil dry if needed, and sweep when dry.

Sweep dock areas

Check all dock lifts to ensure proper operation; Ensure edge of lifts are in the up position when not in-use to avoid damage by trucks.  Report any issues to supervisor(s)

Assist trucks in any questions or issues that may arise

When dumpsters are removed, sweep area prior to dumpster returning

Once a week (Fridays) wash down loading dock lower area and all diamond plate coverings.

All deliveries / packages are to be recorded on the delivery log sheets and entered into daily Maximo ticket.

QUALIFICATIONS

 POSITION REQUIREMENTS

 Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment;

  • Possess basic skills in MSOffice Suite applications;
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail and work well with others;
  • Possess forklift certification or be able to quickly obtain certification;
  • Background working with trades (i.e. Electrical, HVAC, etc.);
  • Must have ability to have a flexible work schedule. There are intermittent demands for supporting after-hours and weekend work;
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel to field locations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee will also frequently work at construction field sites when visiting field locations.

Compensation Range:   Minimum $18.00 per hour and maximum $21.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Other Compensation:  this position is eligible for a bonus
