Job Title: Electrician (FDIC)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking an Electrician in Arlington, VA This position is a covered by the CBA for Local 26

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Electricians perform tasks that support the electrical infrastructure for FDIC buildings:

Install raceways and associated wires.
Maintain and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
Provide technical support to engineering staff.
Troubleshoot electrical problems.
Replace/repair outdated electrical devices.
Perform electrical portion of build outs
Work with Chief engineers at both locations

Qualifications:

Must be a Journeyman Electrician with at least 2 years of experience in the field

Physical Demands:

Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Bending, squatting, kneeling
Work in unconditioned spaces as well as outside
