Ellwood National Forge Company (ENF) has an opening for a Product Manager(s) who is an energetic, self-motivated individual in the operations of ENF.  This position will be based in Irvine, PA, however from time to time maybe assigned to the Corry or Warren Plants.  This exempt position will report to the Director Technical Sales and Marketing.  This position will be responsible for but not limited to, the following:

 JOB DUTIES:

 Direct Product Sales Responsibilities for, but not limited to the following:

  • Specific existing account assignments
    • Current Customers
    • Former Customers requiring a re-entry strategy
    • Identify and pursue value added opportunities
  • Develop significant new volume markets with a focus on custom finish machining
    • Create new customer targets based on ENF facility capabilities
    • Create new customer targets based on modifications to existing facilities
    • Participate in creating the justification for modifying existing facilities
    • Create appropriate sales strategies
  • Preserve and enhance the focus on customer service
  • Create product proposals
  • Document customer calls and key contact information
  • Sales Planning
    • Identify market opportunities across diversified markets
    • Assist in creating market strategy
    • Create appropriate customer presentations
  • Business Planning:
    • Create sales forecasts
    • Analyze competitors
    • Market Share, Capabilities, Strengths & Weaknesses
  • As well as any other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time to support the business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred majors:  Business or Engineering or commensurate level of work-related experience
  • Five years of direct industrial sales and/or heavy metals experience
  • Record of sales growth success for a manufacturing company preferably in the forging or related end use industry
  • Possess superior sales acumen
  • Possess a thorough business understanding from demand creation through fulfillment and customer relationship management
  • Experienced in creating and maintaining effective team relationships linking Sales to the rest of the organization
  • Prepared to accept and effectively manage a minimum of 30% of time traveling in the field
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft products Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
