We offer hands-on training to ensure our Field Service Technicians are successful in the field with installations and service. This includes learning about our adhesives, robots, and applications. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive machine(s) from production, inspect, thoroughly test, debug, and prepare machine(s) for customer inspection and sign-off either at EDS or onsite at customer.
• Perform in-house wet tests and customer acceptance testing as required.
• Complete machine installations, order entry, troubleshooting, customer training, machine testing and field service report generation.
• Identify and instruct corrective actions to customers or teammates when an equipment fault is electrical, software or mechanical.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, pneumatic circuits and software related to the function and operation of our dispensing solutions and motion platforms.
• Use BOM’s to identify parts required to maintain or repair customer machine(s)
• Maintain an orderly and clean work environment which includes toolbox, test materials, carts, shop equipment and surrounding areas.
• Must accomplish on-site work at customer facilities in a clean, efficient, and professional manner.
• Must be able to problem solve in a manufacturing environment without direct supervision.

REQUIREMENTS

• Mechanical aptitude required. All experience levels encouraged to apply. Training is provided. Recent graduates encourage to apply. 
• To perform this job successfully individuals must be proficient on a personal computer and have Spreadsheet Software and Word Processing Software experience.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time. Occasionally lift up to 75lbs.
• Understanding of pumps and motors along with their principles of operation is a plus. 
• Familiarity with one component and two component reactive chemistries is a plus. 
• Experience reading and following assembly drawings & exploded view drawings is a plus. 
• Above average knowledge of electronic components and electronic assemblies is a plus. 
• Knowledge of wiring techniques including cabling, labeling and wire harnesses fabrication is a plus.
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics, hydraulics, thermoset resins, thermoplastics, pneumatics, PLC, low voltage circuits, progressive cavity, piston, gear, and rod pumps is a plus.
