Summary

Leads, designs, and governs the marketing process automation, martech infrastructure and integration, project management, execution, data, and performance analytics. Responsible for processing, mining, and analyzing business and market data to improve decision making across cross-functional stakeholders. This position advances the Marketing function by providing accurate and timely analysis on identification and evaluation of business results, business trends, customer mix, new customer, and market growth opportunities. In addition, the position will build, develop and support a global shared service marketing function. 

Responsibilities

  • Leads the team responsible for assessing and integrating marketing technologies that improve existing marketing and digital workflows and processes.
  • Implements and supports mid-to-long term growth strategies through improvement and automation of the lead generation process, creation of funnel management tools, and creating a coherent linkage between business development, sales, marketing, and digital initiatives.
  • Collaborates with corporate and business unit marketing teams to design, implement, and analyze channel campaigns, including A/B testing, personalization, and creative variations to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.
  • Collects and analyzes various KPI data to evaluate one or more of the following: business results, market trends, web traffic and performance, user behavior, customer acquisition, loyalty, conversions, competitive landscape, cost/benefit, and ROAS value attributed to marketing activities.
  • Makes recommendations regarding the website analytics strategy for divisional websites, including website artifacts (cookies, page elements, data layer and scripts) to the analytics platform (tag manager, analytics applications and databases). Determines how data platforms are used and who is using them, in accordance with data governance and user privacy best practices.
  • Writes website data layer arrays and requirements, refining deployments with web developers.
  • Plans, implements, maintains, and optimizes paid marketing programs, from budgeting to reporting, across multiple websites to create campaigns that drive demand funnels, nurture lead-to-sales journeys, and measure value for co-branded or sponsored advertising efforts.
  • Manages campaign calendar and digital marketing communications, consulting on and measuring appropriate KPIs.
  • Participates in the full-range of people-management responsibilities, including conducting performance reviews, making compensation recommendations, coaching and development, making hiring recommendations, recommending appropriate disciplinary actions.

Experience

7 + years of experience in ecommerce, website analytics, digital marketing, data analysis and campaign optimization or related function.  5 + years of management experience. 

Education

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in marketing, statistics, computer science or related field. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent.

Other Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

 Experience with Google Analytics (GA4 and UA) and Google Tag Manager, or similar platforms (examples: Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Tealium)

  • Advanced spreadsheet and slideshow skills, strong communication, troubleshooting, research, project management, documentation and mathematical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others across multiple projects and timelines simultaneously, while also working independently towards project goals
  • Web knowledge including HTML literacy, DOM structure and browser capabilities
  • Experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Merchant Center, Microsoft Merchant Center and Google Search Console
  • Experience with JavaScript, statistics, SQL, Google Apps Script, JSON, Power BI, Google core web vitals, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
