Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Sales Trainer opportunity in our Specialty Chemical Distribution (SCD) division. This role is located in Germantown, WI., however, the hiring manager is open to a remote work setting for the selected candidate, but the individual needs to live close enough to either our Germantown, WI, or Lake Zurich, IL, locations for meetings or training sessions.

Summary

The Sales Trainer designs and delivers training / onboarding sessions to outside sales employees. In addition, the Sales Trainer contributes to the organization’s learning and development strategy by measuring training effectiveness and implementing new and innovative sales training solutions.

Responsibilities

· Develops and presents monthly supplier partner trainings

· Develops and presents training content for internal systems and resources

· Provides weekly personalized training sessions for salespeople with less than 12 months tenure

· Coordinates and executes ESR (Engineering Sales Representative) 101 training for new hires

· Coordinates supplier partner onsite training for sales team

· Measures effectiveness of trainings and provides remedial follow up sessions where necessary

· Coordinates and executes sales development training with outside organizations

· Measures learning outcomes

· Collaborates with Inside Sales on the development and creation of training content for synergies

Experience

3+ years in a Training or Education role

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, or related subject, is required.
  • Certifications, Business Licenses, Registrations

Other Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

· Demonstrated consultative approach; excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels

· Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills, including experience owning client relationships with all levels of employees and senior leaders

· Ability to analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources in order to identify themes and develop compelling recommendations

· Strong Microsoft Office skills

· Proven ability to produce deliverables that carry a "stamp of excellence”

· Ability to develop and execute training content and translate into the appropriate format(s) for the end user audience

Travel

Up to 20% within North America.
