Eliot’s youth services division includes independent living programs for youths who are court-involved and receiving long term treatment. These highly structured programs offers juvenile offenders support towards mental health recovery and independence.

Eliot is in search of a Bachelor level Asst Program Director with a 2 years of experience working with youthful offenders. Our ideal candidate will be committed to the principles of Wraparound and practice within a Family Driven and Youth guided framework that embraces Family Voice and Choice.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day to day operations of the independent living program in accordance with the program, contract, DYS, DEEC and ECHS policies.
  • Responsible for the scheduling of all independent living program appointments.
  • Responsible for fiscal oversight and supervision of youth budgeting as assigned.
  • Responsible for supervision of staff as assigned.
  • Facilitate scheduled and unannounced wellbeing checks.
  • Facilitate and attend as directed, all meetings associated with the operation of the program, including administrative, staff, shift change, and treatment team meetings.
  • Responsible for the weekly maintenance reports and completion of the program case documentation and systems including fire drills, search, security check, and all other assigned systems.
  • Serve as a member of the administrative team and the on-call rotation.
  • Assist in the hiring, counsel, discipline, and discharge of staff subject to the approval of the Vice President of Human Resources.
  • Facilitate and participate in orientation, training, and development opportunities for staff.
  • Submit timely and accurate employee supervision documentation and performance evaluations.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the youth, their families, community agencies, licensing agents, and vendors, including DYS and DEEC.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am -5 pm with flexibility
