MSPCC a division of Eliot, is seeking a Mental and Behavioral Health Coach that has experience working with young children with challenging behaviors and/or mental health issues.
Our Early Childhood MH Consultation program works with early education, care, out of school programs & families to respond to the social-emotional, behavioral & mental health needs of children. Early assessment, through classroom observations, standardized tools & family meetings, facilitates the implementation of strategies that aim to improve social-emotional development. Strengthening the collaboration between parents & childcare providers ensures the best results for children in the home & school environments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with childcare programs and families.
- Provide behavior coaching on site at childcare programs/family child care homes for young children with challenging behaviors
- Provide support and modeling regarding behavior management strategies.
- Provide support, training, and resources regarding classroom management techniques.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual behavior support plans.
- Access resources to appropriately answer questions and provide guidance to staff and parents.
- Provide information, written resources, and referral information to assigned cases.
Schedule: Monday through Friday (9-5 or 8-4)
