Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that consumers are treated with dignity and respect in accordance with ECHS’ Human Rights policy.
  • Triages client phone calls effectively to ensure adequate client care for all levels of CBHC care
  • Perform general office duties including typing, filing, copying and collating.
  • Provide in-person reception for all people entering the building
  • Check clients in and, contact appropriate department/provider to announce arrival or walk client to the appropriate department. 
  • Take client messages and appropriately communicate them with the providers
  • Assist in the collection and tracking of client copayments  
  • Receive and record daily cash receipts. Send out payment reminders through Square
  • Enter Registration and Termination forms into the EHR system.
  • 10. Distribute incoming/ outgoing mail 

Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of two years secretarial experience or business school and a minimum of one-year secretarial experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Computer literacy and skill in the use of computers and related software applications. Ability to type a minimum of 60 wpm with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to consistently meet all necessary background and credentialing requirements. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Must have a reliable telephone notification system for emergency contact. 
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and effective, solution focused, problem solving skills. Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with clients, staff, co-workers and supervisor.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups. 

Schedule - Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Bonus Breakdown:

  • $1500 after 1 month of employment
  • $1500 after 6 months of employment
