Our client, a leader in thermal process technology, has an immediate need for an experienced Welder, to join their winning team in Stoughton.

Our candidate of choice will be responsible for hand welding operations on a wide range of metal and alloys for complex precision assemblies involving a considerable amount of welding to high strength and pressure requirements. You will use your experience in the fabrication of pressure vessels and welding a variety of materials, as well as pipefitting (preferred). Considerable skill will be required fusing dissimilar metals, obtaining maximum weld strength, and avoiding distortion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs high quality GTAW, FCAW, and SMAW welds.
• Reads and understands drawings and supporting manufacturing documentation.
• Uses precision measuring instruments.
• Able to layout, fit up and fabricate steel, stainless and aluminum weldments.
• Able to work with little supervision and be a self-starter.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

•  High School/Technical School graduate or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with welding a variety of materials
• Short run/prototype experience.
• Experience working with large parts.
