Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of scientific and life sciences equipment, has an immediate need for an experienced Sales Manager, to join our winning team in Atlanta.
Our candidate of choice will be responsible for driving sales of our products and services, developing, and executing sales strategies. You must have strong knowledge of sensor & control products and their applications.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
- Serve as the Sensor Products Business point of contact for all sales.
- Conduct Sensor product presentations while translating product features into benefits for customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop new markets.
- Work with product development team to ensure the products meet customers’ needs.
- Implement marketing programs.
- Review and make inventory suggestions.
- Provide regular sales reports to senior management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Physics, or related field
- Experience related to sensors and other related electronics components as clinical experience strongly preferred.
- 5 + years of experience in sales, preferably in the sensor industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel
- Strong negotiation, and customer service skills
