Under the direction of the specified shift supervisor or leading licensed radiology technician, performs wide range of Diagnostic Imaging Services & procedures on patients of varying ages, completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while patient is in department or units for procedures.
- Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Possesses effective oral and written communication skills.
- Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills.
- Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist.
- Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
Work Experience:
- Must have successfully completed all prior clinical rotations & in final semester pre-graduate.
License/Registration/Certification:
- BLS (CPR) certified required.
Education and Training:
- Enrolled for credit in the clinical portion of an approved/accredited Radiological Technology Program.
