The Administrative Intern will gain practical experience in a professional work environment that makes meaningful use of their education and skills. The internship is experiential and project-focused.
Job Responsibilities:
Participates in the team analysis of problems and the preparation of presentations and reports under the supervision of the department manager and/or staff.
Evaluates information gained in accordance with established policies and procedures and assist professional staff in ongoing work in an increasingly responsible role.
Applies analytical skills, enthusiasm for healthcare, eagerness to learn about hospital operations and commitment to contributing to the organization.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a relevant business or healthcare degree program. Strong interest in pursuing a career in healthcare and/or hospital operations.
Analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Able to work well at all levels of the organization.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards.
Salary Range:
