The following minimum qualifications for this position must be met before any applicant will be considered:

• High School Diploma or GED.Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution preferred.
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
• Current AHA BLS for the Healthcare Provider (CPR/AED) certification.
• Experience in ambulatory care with both clinical and administrative medical assistant duties.
• Experience in phlebotomy, EKG’s, knowledge in pharmacology concepts, and drug administration of is a must.
• Must be flexible between the Cocoa and Palm Bay campuses.
• Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator’s license required.
• This position will require successful fingerprinting and substance screening.The candidate chosen will be required to pay the associated fees (currently $36.00/$65.15). The fingerprinting and substance screening fees ($36.00/$65.15) are non-refundable.
