Our company is currently in search of a Division Controller to join our team at our New Carlisle, Indiana office. The Division Controller will supervise the office staff and handle various day-to-day administrative responsibilities. These include tasks such as managing the month-end process, invoicing, reconciliations, customer service, paint ordering, inventory controls, work order reviews, sales order reviews, filing, electronic conversion, invoices submitted for payment, and entering/approving purchase orders. This full-time, exempt position will report to both the General Manager and the Chief Financial Officer and will adhere to standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm EST.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities described in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.

  • Supervise EDCOAT office staff (Customer Service Representatives).
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve process improvement with redesigning and rollout various administrative processes.
  • Responsible for invoicing, credit memos, customer reconciliations, customer communications, production scheduling
  • Month End Process
    • Partner with accounting to ensure smooth month end.
    • Ensure clean cutoffs, accrual journal entries, customer profitability review.
  • Serve within the EDCOAT leadership team.
  • Drive Customer Profitability
  • Pricing – partner with CFO and Sales for customer pricing decisions
  • Partner with Director of Operations to ensure smooth business transactions and ERP updated timely and accurately.
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office.
  • Manages and oversees resources through coordination of tasks, scheduling, and prioritization of assignments.
  • Ensure Inventory Controls are in place and followed.
  • Assists the planning department with the compilation of production work orders.
  • Outline, track, and report on key performance indicators to drive accountability and informed decision-making to help the facility reach new levels.

 Experience Required:

  • 4-year Business Degree (Management, Acccounting, or Finance preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred
  • High competency with Microsoft Suite, ERP computer systems (NetSuite), and email
  • Technical savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
