ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

 Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
 Prepares monthly, quarterly, and yearly journal entries and accruals as part of the month-end and
yearly close process.
 Maintains fixed asset ledger and monthly depreciation entries.
 Record intercompany transactions and keep accounts in balance.
 Manage organization cash flow and forecasting.
 Support departments to interpret and understand their accounting budget to actual reports.
 Assists with the preparation of agency and grant budgets relating to Federal and State programs.
 Reconciles and prepares grant reimbursement vouchers and reports.
 Works with internal and external auditors to help reconcile discrepancies or support the auditing
function.
 Updates and maintains accurate monthly allocations applied to various grants.
 Effectively communicate and present critical financial matters to executive and senior leadership.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to interface with all levels of the
organization.
 Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
 Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook required.

Minimum Requirements

 A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field from an accredited university
 Overall 5+ years of work experience
 2+ years of work experience in Non-Profit Accounting a plus
 Ability to handle responsibilities independently, while exercising good judgment in problem-
solving and keeping team members adequately informed.
 Well-honed analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating
data findings, experience establishing and tracking program metrics
