We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Enginering Regional Manager within Industrial Services to help drive our team's success and deliver outstanding results to our clients.

At EAPC, our team of more than 180 architects, engineers, interior designers, construction managers, and other professionals work together to create stunning structures and design for optimum performance.

As an IS Mechanical Enginering Regional Manager at EAPC, you will:

  • Be the Area/Regional leader of Industrial Services' Mechanical Engineering and Business Development
  • Manage multiple small to medium sized projects and/or a portion of large projects
  • Provide oversight and mentoring of the work performed by junior staff
  • Provide mechanical design, detailing, and calculations as required for all phases of design
  • Perform site visits as required
  • Participate in all project design phases along with construction administration
  • Perform project management duties including assisting individual project managers with the development and management of project budgets, scopes, fees, and production coordination with progression toward independently performing these duties
  • Collaborate with multiple professional disciplines and be required to work within project deadlines
  • Demonstrate an ongoing and consistent ability to work within the EAPC team culture
  • Foster a commitment to external and internal client service
  • Develop specifications for equipment and construction
  • Develop conceptual designs and preliminary engineering studies/investigations
  • Oversee the development of detailed engineered designs by designers/drafters
  • Provide day to day project management to successful completion including setting and maintianing design and construction schedules and managing projects according to budget.
  • Manage customer relations and interfaces associated with assigned projects
  • Manage and direct resources and support resources involved in assigned projects including managing deadlines and budgetary constraints

To join us, you should have:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited university
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a consulting or operational environment
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management position; experience mentoring EITs preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to sign and stamp individual work as well as review and stamp the work of other mechanical engineers or EITs.
  • Experience with project management with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proven experience in business development with a track record of success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities preferred.
  • Experience in power generation, food processing, oil/gas refinement, or heavy industrial processing preferred
  • Field or construction management experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills as well as interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate computers, copy machines, plotters, and telephones
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to job sites
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

This position will report directly to the Industrial Services Program Director and will work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline, in-house team of engineers and drafting technicians.
