We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a strong design background who is eager to advance their career with an award-winning, full-service design and consulting firm! We are seeking a talented Electrical BIM Modeler to join our Electrical Engineering team.
At EAPC, our team of more than 180 architects, engineers, interior designers, construction managers, and other professionals work together to create stunning structures and design for optimum performance.
As an Electrical BIM Modeler at EAPC, you will:
- Assist the responsible engineer on projects from concept to successful completion.
- Utilize and manage computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Visual.
- Develop project schedules for use throughout the design phase.
- Knowledge of the current National Electric Code (NEC).
- Work day-to-day with other engineering disciplines internal and external of the organization.
- Must be able to accommodate and meet customer demands within deadlines
- Development and issuance of RFP’s and RFQ’s.
To join us, you should have:
- Minimum 2-year degree/diploma in Design/Drafting or equivalent experience
- All experience levels will be considered; 5+ years experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical and Structural drawings
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office
- Commitment to quality assurance/quality control procedures
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
The position will report directly to the Electrical Engineering Department Lead and will work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline, in-house team of engineers, architects, and drafting technicians.
