Position Summary

DLR Group is seeking a Regional Sector Leader role for our Healthcare Sector in the Pacific Northwest. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strategic and visionary approach for growth to the Healthcare Sector and can lead a high-performing team. In this role you will manage a team working on regional healthcare projects.

The successful candidate will:

  • Communicate regularly with the Global Healthcare Leader, Northwest Region Leader to lead the pursuit, award, and execution of work across the Healthcare Sector
  • Establish annual business goals, strategies, and tactics in collaboration with other Leaders.
  • Work with Business Development staff to nurture client relationships and develop new business.
  • Provide innovative thinking about healthcare design, project approach, and creating an environment that encourages exploration of creative design solutions.
  • Review of projects with managers to ensure quality, efficient and profitable project performance.
  • Oversee financial health of regional sector operations and achieve annual profit and growth goals.
  • Identify regional issues requiring global solutions and elevate to the Healthcare Forum
  • Promote DLR Group's vision of fostering a culture of transparency and equity. This includes equitable hiring, project assignments and promotion considerations, and mentoring. Lead, mentor, &/or participate in performance management of sector-specific staff and business development staff.
  • Act as a leading voice for the healthcare design community, be visible in speaking events, writing and other activities to amplify DLR Group’s design voice to champion industry thought leadership and demonstrate familiarity with healthcare evolution and trends.
  • Attend industry events, business development events, interviews, and client meetings as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional accredited degree in Architecture or other industry related degree such as construction
  • 15+ years of architectural design experience with emphasis in healthcare
  • Leadership experience
  • Professional Licensure (NCARB or equivalent)
  • Ability to travel as the team and projects require (WA & OR)
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for sponsorship visa or residency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Affiliation with healthcare accreditations such as American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA), Center for Health Design (EDAC), or other related associations

The potential pay range for this role is $110,000 - $150,000.
