Job Description

The IT Administrator is responsible for supporting the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This includes support for both the systems themselves as well as all users of the IT systems within the company. The IT Administrator will work closely with IT leadership to conduct strategic IT initiatives and facilitate communication between IT and other departments within the company.

Operations: Help Desk, Provisioning, Maintenance. Day-to-Day end-user support for services provided by IT Department (Helpdesk, CRM, ERP, productivity software).

  • Order and deploy systems to new and existing employees, provide new hire IT onboarding.
  • Help Desk support and maintenance:  End User ticket resolution and systems warranty/repair management.
  • Participate in weekly on-call rotations and or after-hours support as needed.

Security & Compliance: Backup & Recovery, Incident Response, Awareness, Vulnerability, End Point.

  • Maintain and support IT systems with emphasis on security and vulnerability remediation.
  • Ensure compliance with ITW BRAVE and ICQ.

Infrastructure: Servers & Storage, Networking, Wireless, Remote Access, Virtualization.

  • Maintain and oversee all aspects of the division infrastructure including upgrade and installation of new hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot problems with systems and programs.

Qualifications

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information security or related areas and/or equivalent experience.

Experience/Skills: 

  • Effective communication, organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • 3 years of experience working in IT or related fields of study
  • PC troubleshooting and networking knowledge
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and productivity suites
  • Excellent virtual/phone presence and verbal communication skills
  • Certifications preferred: A+, Network+, Security+

Physical/Visual Activities or Demands: Physical/visual activities or demands that are commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.

  1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to talk, hear, sit, and type, frequently required to reach above shoulder and outward, grasp and manipulate objects, stand, and walk, and occasionally twist/turn, climb, crawl, bend, and squat.
  2. The employee must carry up to ten pounds frequently and up fifty pounds occasionally and push and pull up to fifty pounds occasionally.
  3. Specific vision abilities required by this job include concentrated attention, close vision, far vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to bring objects into sharp focus.

  3. Occasional exposure to loud noises and machinery (20%)

The hourly range for this position is $23.10-31.30 per hour. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime. Available benefits may include health, dental, and vision insurance, and 401(k) with company match if hired on a full-time basis post contract.
