Description

DDI's Vocational Program Manager leads DDI's vocational team within our Adult Day Services division. The Voational Program manager is responsible for the oversight and supervision of our team of Employment Specialists.

Salary Range: $24.80-$29.76/hour

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform all job functions of the Employment Specialists
  • Planning short-term projects, job development, assigning job development responsibilities to staff.
  • Oversight and supervision of Employment Specialists, day to day activities, weekly schedules, wage development, service plans and transportation coordination.
  • Promote staff development:  Which includes but is not limited to performance improvement initiatives including training, mentoring, reviews and any necessary corrective action plans.
  • Petty cash custodian responsibilities.
  • Monitoring of funding contracts for compliance, and subsequent revenue (billing) and reporting functions.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings to ensure coordination of services.  Documentation of same.
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of case records.
  • Provide protective oversight and advocacy. 
  • Incident reporting and action as per 624 Regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in related field preferred and significant experience in vocational services with progressive responsibility.
  • Knowledge of VESID, DOL and OPWDD regulations relating to Vocational guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a variety of locations in the community. Must have automobile.
