General Duties:
- Ensure that you and your crew represent Delta Industrial in a professional manner at all times.
- Monitor all crew members to ensure that they are showing up on-time, with the proper attire, tools and safety equipment to complete their daily tasks.
- Complete job safety analysis (JSA) each morning prior to beginning work and close out at the end of each working day.
- Assist with or complete on-site layouts as required.
- Review construction drawings and schedule, develop daily job tasks and direct on-site crew members as required.
- Supervise all on-site employees to ensure tasks are being completed in a proper, safe and timely manner.
- Coordinate material needs, equipment needs, saw cutting, deliveries and staffing with your project manager and dispatch as required.
- Assist with or complete pre-pour checks as required to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate with the customer as required to ensure that needs are being met and work is being completed in a satisfactory fashion.
- Communicate with your project manager or sales person to report construction progress on a daily basis or as reasonably required.
- Complete required paperwork (i.e. JSA’s, equipment inspections, change orders, accident forms, injury forms, etc.) as required and turn into the appropriate office department in a timely manner.
- Collect and submit daily paperwork (i.e. receipts, shippers, yard slips, etc.) to the appropriate office department in a timely manner.
- Obtain and maintain the proper Delta Industrial certifications for operating required construction equipment (i.e. manlift, skid loader, excavator, front end loader, broderson crane, site-truck, boom crane, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times!
Reporting:
- Communicate directly to your project manager or sales person to report the status of your construction project on a daily basis or as reasonably required.
- Communicate with your project manager or dispatch to coordinate material, equipment and staffing needs on a daily basis or as required.
- Communicate with your project manager or safety director regarding any safety incidents, near misses or general safety concerns as required.
