Job Title: Beverage Sales Representative

Department: Sales & Brand SupportReports To: Operations ManagerEmployment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Compensation:

  • Full-Time: 4% commission on all orders
  • Part-Time: 2% commission on all orders

As a Sales Representative, you will be the face of our brand in the field, delivering consultative sales strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and creating exceptional value for our clients.

Primary Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Serve as a trusted consultant to accounts through regular visits and personalized service
  • Build credible, lasting relationships with bar managers, chefs, GMs, sommeliers, retailers, and owners
  • Present 7th Floor Beverage's product portfolio with expert knowledge and enthusiasm
  • Represent the brand professionally at all events, tastings, and activations

Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation

  • Conduct strategic outreach to on-premise and off-premise venues (restaurants, bars, retailers, lounges)
  • Drive consistent revenue growth through tastings, product demonstrations, and follow-ups
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to set and achieve individual and territory-based goals
  • Propose selling solutions tailored to each client’s unique concept and purchasing patterns

Territory & Account Management

  • Maintain a regular call schedule and detailed account history using CRM or internal reporting tools
  • Submit timely reports that track sales activity, reorder trends, and client feedback
  • Monitor and fulfill reorders to ensure continuity of service and stock levels
  • Stay up-to-date on competitor offerings and industry trends in beverage, spirits, and hospitality

Expectations for Sales Representatives

  • Minimum of 15 new venue visits weekly (Full Time)
  • Minimum of 5 new Venue Visits Weekly (Part Time)
  • Biweekly account status reports 1st and 15th
  • Support product launches and promotional events
  • Maintain service on all active accounts
  • Required to complete On and Off-Site Bassett Training
  • Maintain assigned client base and support reorder fulfillment
  • Tasting Event Support. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED required, college degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality a plus
  • All Sales Representatives must complete Basset Bartender Certification
  • Proven experience in beverage sales, hospitality management, or CPG sales preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Proficient with digital tools, CRM platforms, and email communications
  • Must have reliable transportation and auto insurance

Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Must be able to travel within assigned territory
  • Requires regular standing, walking, driving, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent field visits to customer sites and industry events
