DaVita’s procurement team also known as PRISM (Procurement, Risk reduction, Innovation, and Supply Management) is on a multi-year journey of transforming our procurement / supply-chain / strategic sourcing process to be the best for our patients and partners and are looking for an innovative leader with Procurement Excellence experience to join our leadership team. 

In this vital role, reporting to the Director of Special Projects, this person independently leads the program management and execution of multiple procurement strategic imperatives and initiatives. The position operates as an internal consultant, with minimal supervision, across a network of divisions, groups, functions and categories to ensure successful program delivery.

Responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

  • Build and lead the establishment of a Procurement program management team in the Village by hiring and training talent to execute clinical and corporate projects required to deliver favorable P&L impacts and non-financial multi-year objectives.
  • Mobilizes and leads distributed project teams. Directs on-time, quality delivery of work products; leads implementation economics, risk and communications.
  • Leads multiple projects at a time with well-documented and organized project management methodologies to problem solve and support enterprise and functional objectives
  • Collaborates with Vice President and Director of Procurement and Executive Finance leadership on reporting cadence to achieve single source of truth for savings, inflation, net productivity
  • Monitor metrics, track progress and prepare presentations for senior management
  • Drive development and deployment of supplier management tools and applications
  • Travel required up to 25%

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Procurement, Supply Chain or Project Management experience required
  • Process improvement background (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma) preferred
  • Leads from the heart with a deep interest in people management and effective teaming
  • Experience partnering with executives in global companies

  • Communication skills, written and oral

  • Ability to prioritize and adapt based on changing priorities
  • Ability to develop and deploy new initiatives at scale
  • Ability to learn new software and policy/project management tools.

Salary/ Wage Range

$75,200.00 - $110,400.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. *If this position is located in a region with minimum wage requirements, we will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage: Denver: $17.29/per hour for nonexempt roles, Colorado: $50k/year for exempt roles.
