Overview of the Position and Team:
Title: Manager, Payor Partnerships
Location: Denver, CO
Team Description: The Payor Partnerships team manages relationships with a wide variety of payors, including commercial health plans, medical groups and hospitals, among others. Within these relationships, the team is responsible for negotiating and implementing all payor/provider contracts, educating our payor partners on various DaVita programs that create value and improve patient care and outcomes, and reviewing financial models and language terms to ensure our agreements keep pace with the dynamic healthcare market. Further, the Payor Partnerships team helps shape DaVita’s strategy within the evolving healthcare landscape, including value-based care agreements.
Position Description: This teammate will serve as a vital member of DaVita’s Payor Partnerships team. Key responsibilities include cultivating and maintaining payor relationships, negotiating rates and contract language, redlining of contract documents, issue resolution, coordinating with claims teammates to ensure accurate billing, reimbursement and contract implementation, and regular communication with regional field operating leaders. This position reports to the Director of Payor Partnerships, for whom this teammate will provide day to day support in negotiation and account management efforts. This position requires a limited amount of travel.
Experience and Education:
Undergraduate degree (post-graduate professional degree a plus)
Minimum of three years’ experience in contract language and rate negotiations
Healthcare experience preferred

Salary/ Wage Range
$68,400.00 - $100,400.00 / yearCompensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
